Tourist
It’s odd being a tourist in the city that you grew up in. I haven’t been back to New Brunswick since 4 years ago and before that it was only 3 times over the last 10 years.
It has been good to see and catch up with family, but I never thought it would be this much fun taking my kids to see the area through “tourist” eyes. Yesterday was Magnetic Hill (which my wife was more excited about than I) and the Hopewell Cape Rocks. We finished the day off with supper at a friends followed by some fireworks, good times.
Today we are off to the beach, for sun, sand, surf then seafood (well… for the kids, not me so much). Hard to believe we only have a couple days left.
